CNL Brass won the Band Association of New South Wales Open C Grade Brass Band Championship on Saturday, 25 September, repeating its success of 2008 (the band did not contest the event in 2009).
Under the baton of musical director Ron Boaden, the band presented for adjudication the compulsory test item Journey, the hymn Reflections in Nature and the own choice Dimensions.
It received a total of 214 points (out of 250), being eight points clear of the second placed band.
