Concert: Warners Bay, 16 December
CNL Brass and Eleebana Primary School Concert Band combined to entertain the audience at the very popular “Music in the Podium” series of concerts held in the podium at Lake Macquarie foreshore park, Warners Bay, on Friday evenings during daylight saving.
Both bands included Christmas carols and Christmas tunes as part of the entertainment.
Eleebana provided a one hour concert, commencing at 6pm. CNL Brass followed, playing, in total, twenty-four numbers, including eight Carols and Christmas numbers, such as Christmas Joy, Happy Christmas-War is Over, Christmas Crackers and Rudolph. Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus featured as the second last item.
The concert concluded at about 9pm with We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
An audience of about two hundred and fifty responded well with acclamation to the performance of both bands.
