Hunter Regional Soloist and Ensemble Championships: Sunday 5 August, 2012
Clarence Leung, who is Principal Cornet for CNL Brass, had an excellent result at the Championships. Clarence entered the Open Cornets Event (which he won in 2011) and played Jubilance. Clarence won the event with a mark of 98 (out of 100) and retained the Phillip Clack Memorial Trophy for this event. As 98 was the highest mark allocated in four championship qualifying events, Clarence was also presented with the Open Brass Championship Perpetual Shield.
