CNL Brass presented the first of two one hour variety concerts to an audience of about fifty developmentally disabled people on Thursday evening. Their response to the music of a brass band is enthusiastic, with spontaneous applause after every number. There are two members of the audience, David and Darryl, who are always keen to conduct the band. Both were invited to “wave the baton” by musical director John Kellaway. David conducted the march Colonel Bogey, while Darryl took up the challenge with Rock around the Crock.

The band opened its program with the circus march Entry of the Gladiators and closed the program will the always requested Floral Dance.
