This is the second International Online Cory Band Championship that CNL Brass has entered. The performance was recorded in the band’s rehearsal hall. A time limit of 10 minutes applied. The three items were presented were:

Waltzing Matilda, Australia’s best known bush ballad, with lyrics written by Banjo Paterson in 1895 and first published to music in 1903. It is often described as the country’s unofficial national anthem.
Post Horn Galop, featuring principal cornet Bruce Fletcher playing the valveless instrument, the post horn. This instrument was used during the 18th and 19 centuries to signal the arrival or departure of a post rider or a mail coach.
Strike Up The Band, an old, but lively tune written by George and Ira Gershwin in 1927 for the Stage Musical of the same name.
